The durable MDF wood Slapshot table is made with ultra-smooth rods that have chrome plating to provide strength and low friction. The rods can be securely mounted to players and won't move during play. They are hollow-ground steel and have 0.120 inch walls. Nylon brushings reduce friction. For a level playing surface, the pedestal base is strong and has four adjustable leg levels.
Slapshot's unique 2:1 gearbox allows for fast player responses and lively play. With a quick flick of the wrist, players can turn 360 degrees quickly so that you don't have the strain to get the shots that you want. We also designed a clutch system to "give" when player-to-player force exists.
