These Hammerlock connectors are extremely good quality grade 80 fitting.
They can be used for many purposes, with the main one being chain slings, to join the chain to the masterlink. However these connectors can also do a brilliant job of making a permanent connection between chain and a lifting point of a machine for example. Although stated as permanent fitting, you can remove the centre pin and relocate the connector, this should be done by a competent engineer and your assembly may require another test.
