Different Types of Hugs 

1.Side hug-

When two people hug each other by standing or sitting side by side by using their arms. One person uses his left arm and another person hugs with his right arm. This type of hug is very common among friends, classmates, relatives of any known person.

2.Friend hug-

when the two friends meet each other and hug by touching their chests and but not their faces. They have some space in between their faces by keeping their arms on the back shoulder of each other. The space between their mouth denotes that there is no intimacy or sexual mood. These hugs are often a bit faster.

3.Hugging From behind-

hugs from the back side are often seen among the loving birds, couples or it may be between parent and their child to show their emotions. While hugging from the back side with a romantic feel, one person stands on the back side of the partner and tries to wrap his arm on the partner’s chest by putting his chin on the partner’s shoulder or either tries to kiss.   2. Tight hug with a Squeeze- Tight hug with squeeze or bear hug denotes special care and love. It may be between the couples to care for their partner or pampering them. It is normal but tighter, closer, and may be for a long duration of time. In this scenario, the partner feels safe and secure in your arms. It has a great significance on the nervous system of the body as it helps in relaxing the body.
  3. Heart to Heart hug- This type of hug is very common in couples when they meet after a long time or it also may be between mother and child. It is usually done in a standing position. When hugging your partner, You tightly wrap the body with both of your hands and lie down on your partner’s shoulder by touching their chest to chest. And the other also hugs you in the same way but by putting their hands on your shoulder and lying her head on the other side of your shoulder.
