Even though I had to give up an extra touchdown and a two point conversion in the second period, I was able, in the end, to eat enough clock to see out the game being aware that my opponent would require an extra touchdown to end their game.
I'll admit that my victory did feel a little hollow because my opponent's impatience ultimately forced me to concede the win. If he'd acted less than he did, I believe I'd say he'd been a better player and could have beat me. We also, luckily, have teams that are fairly evenly matched with the top-level Ultimate Team players basically rely on the strengths of specific cards. Even though I'm very happy with my team however, I don't have the best squad. I'm not going to complain about pay-to-win because it's the truth that you could give the majority of Madden NFL gamers a team of just 80 overall players and they'd still beat my team of 90s.
The one thing I will say is that I didn't always enjoy my experience playing online at all. In the beginning where I was losing by a lot, I encountered plenty of negative energy. Although that I'm not the best at the game and do not necessarily mind losing however, I was confronted by a lot gamers who'd just berate me and mock me, even though they were practically guaranteed to victory.
