That is partly why I made the switch to OSRS

OSRS feels more like the actual runescape I enjoy playing than RS3. I was maximum prior to archeology, half method into OSRS gold 120 thieving, and that I made the conscience decision that I had rather re-max every skill from level 1 at osrs than play rs3 and grind 1 99.

I have also moved from rs3 to osrs lately for comparable reasons. But one issue I've had with both games/communities is that this concept that everyone would like to max or that maxing is somehow"the point" of this game. Coming out of a Dungeons and Dragons background (which much of ancient RS was very much based on) I have never had a campaign in which our party made it beyond level 10. Even with just like 3 years of playing the same character. I made so many distinct characters back in pre-eoc because I really embraced the Role-Playing aspect of the MMORPG. I'd just set myself unique challenges or have a certain theme for the personality. Sure, after nearly two decades there must be a lot of end game content. Nonetheless, it seems like that's all of the community is focused on.

My primary consideration is a pure f2p in rs3 with a couple of 99s and a few more not away. I stopped the game for a span of approximately five decades and returned last October. Pretty much everyone I knew in the f2p community that still plays has maxed and is currently only grinding out virtual 120s/200m.

I'm quite near my intentions of getting 99 Defence, Prayer, and Magic, and my friend who has maxed twice today in f2p requested me which ability I had been going to work on next. I was just like... there probably won't be a next. I'm getting these 99s since I enjoy them because they were youth dreams of mine. But I really don't place any value . I'm not going to do something I despise like Woodcutting or Fishing for hours upon hours just to find the numbers go up. I mean, if I had been still a child with all the time in the world I might. However, in my adult life I need a bit more from my precious spare time. I need something engaging, rather than afkable.

So I moved to osrs and created an ultimate Ironman. And I've put myself additional thematic challenges and limitations. And while I could finally do exactly the same thing in Rs3, I find that the unique gear system of cheap RuneScape gold osrs makes different account builds more rewarding to playwith. Along with the neighborhood (particularly YouTube content creators) is far more enthusiastic about that style of game play.
