I find that when I have not done mining for some time

I find that when I have not done mining for some time (because I had been working on a few of the other skills), the first couple of stones I mine are incredibly slow. After the first few stones, I get back to collecting ores at the typical speed... Same thing with all woodcutting (the first couple of logs require a remarkably long time to OSRS gold get, but then the pace at which I purchase logs goes back to normal), and same thing with fishing gear.

Question #1) Has anybody else noticed the exact same thing? Where if you have not trained a skill at just a little while, your personality is actually"rusty" at the skill to begin, but goes back to normal speed after the first few ores/logs/fish?

Question #2) Is there a Runescape"rusty skill" subprogram, in which in case you have not trained a skill in just a little while, your character will be rather slow in the ability for the first little bit, until your resource gathering ability rate returns to normal, and is again only determined by your ability level and the type of pickaxe/hatchet you're using?

You are just using it wrong. Magic, quite simply, isn't to be used just like Range and Melee is. Range and Melee can simply hit 1 target at a time, whilst magic (using Ancients) can hit several targets at once. To show similarity, I'll use a metaphor. Magic resembles a real-life atomic bomb. You would not use a nuke like you would utilize an Ak-47, now would you? No, nukes have been used to hit many things at once, and buy RuneScape gold obliterate all of them, while an Ak-47 is made to take out folks.
