All of the spawn points are released in the same moment the side quest has been completed. The players must travel a certain distance across the city in order to finish the quest. The spawning location can be done on your City map by choosing the desired spawn area and then confirming it.

It is the Unlock Spawn Points side quest is provided by ATM, an NPC in the city, and requires users to travel 26.2 miles. This is to be done by foot, and using the BMX skateboards, skateboards, and rollerblades will not count towards the total distance that is travelled. Also, the participant must be running, not walking. While tracking the quest, you'll see an indicator of progress on the left side of the screen, so that players will always know how far they've travelled.

The total distance can be tracked in time and doesn't require to be completed all at once.
