Yoshikage Kira is the main antagonist of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, the 3rd installment in the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series.

Stand users are known for their obtrude dressing style and ridiculous hair fashion. Among the many Stand users in the JoJo universe, Yoshikage Kira is the one who doesn’t stand out and mixes well with the civilians. After killing Kosaku Kawajiri, Yoshikage Kira takes over his appearance and lives an everyday life with Kawajir’s family.

The protagonist and pompadour obsessed Josuke Higashikata is a Stand user, and he takes care of any mishappening surrounding Stand users in Morioh Town. However, Yoshikage Kira is a cold-hearted serial killer who perfected Killer Queen, a Stand of Bombs, on his own.

Killer Queen is a decisive Stand and comes in handy at strategic fights and long-range battles. While Killer Queen does what he does best, there are some imperfections in the battle style of both Kira and Killer Queen that makes them vulnerable.

Yoshikage Kira Killer Queen strengths

Mixed with Kira’s personality, Killer Queen specializes in lurk attacks that force him to hide and set straps, which is similar to the style used by Ninjas and apex assassins. Unlike Josuke, Jonathan Joestar, and Jotaro Kujo, who are familiar with close-range battles and hand-to-hand combats, Yoshikage Kira is a calculative person. He takes precautions while fighting with other Stand users, and he never openly attacks his enemies. Yoshikage Kira sets booby traps to lure people into a vulnerable stage, and his Stand, Killer Queen, attacks them by attaching a bomb to their body and sets off the triggers, killing them instantly. This strategy allows Kira to flee the scene without getting noticed by anyone. Due to the relevant distance between him and his victims, other Stand users are incapable of locating him and his Stand.

Yoshikage Kira excels at setting traps, and he takes every precaution to lessen the collateral damage on him while Killer Queen takes care of bombing. Killer Queen can set up three types of bombs, and most of them are equally brutal as with a snap of a finger, Killer Queen can blast people, objects, and buildings into tiny pieces. Also, Kira owns three different Stands, making him the cunning and the most badass Stand user in the JoJo universe.

Yoshikage Kira Killer Queen weaknesses

The biggest weakness of Yoshikage Kira is his Stand Killer Queen, who is a mediocre Stand and doesn’t fight well in hand-to-hand combat. Kira and his assassin skills use the Stand; otherwise, Killer Queen could have died a long time ago.

Kira’s weakness also lies in his identity, which he tries to hide whenever he kills his targets. Kira targets children and women who are more vulnerable as compared to men and other Stand users. As a cunning assassin, his ability performs well, but he can’t do much if another Stand user or police locate his location. While setting traps is his ability, getting found out is his weakness.

Additionally, Kira’s body is not fit for fighting, and even though Killer Queen can throw some punches, it comes nowhere near the brute force of other Stands, such as Crazy Diamond or Star Platinum. The worst situation comes when a Stand clasp the right hand of Killer Queen, making him unable to plant bombs and also stops him from setting off the trigger.

Killer Queen can come as a disappointment against other Stands in terms of brute strength. Suppose he meets someone like Jotaro Kujo, and a battle breaks out between the two. In that case, Jotaro Kujo’s Star Platinum is capable of beating him to death, and of course, it can stop time to prevent Killer Queen from planting bombs and make him suffer by turning Killer Queen bombs against him.
