In a recent announcement, it was made official through Twitter that the third My Hero Academia film will soon be released. The teaser images feature Shoto Todoroki, Izuku Midoriya, and Katsuki Bakugo in new costumes. The movie’s hype has already pointed to the possibility that the new film will soon be released. However, some recent reports have claimed that the film will hit the theaters in 2021. 

The first two My Hero Academia movies have done well, so the upcoming film has a lot to live up to; but, it will be challenging to bring the fans back to theaters if the present-day global healthcare crisis persists. However, the upcoming movie also has a massive advantage because it has been predicted to show never-before-seen corners of the My Hero Academia universe, which will likely entice fans.

The teaser images have raised two very important questions. One of them is the mystery behind the phrase that keeps coming up. It says that he will meet the Three Musketeers. It is unclear what these Three Musketeers might be referring to. Moreover, the second big question was raised when a small detail that some fans have recently noticed on the costumes worn by Midoriya and his friends. The shoulders of this costume have WHA written on them. No one knows what WHA means. Some fans have speculated that the upcoming movie will explore the heroes and villains from the entire planet. WHA is rumored to represent the World Hero Association.

It has been a long-standing question, and no one is sure about the world outside Japan since Horikoshi has hardly referenced the global impact of Quirks. The only exception is the spinoff series Vigilante that briefly covered the United States and their top hero Captain Celebrity but other than that, fans are entirely in the dark.

If the rumors are to be believed, the third movie might change the lack of information about the world outside Japan. It is possible that there is an international organization of heroes, just like the United Nations Peacekeepers, to take care of threats to world peace. If this is true, we might see Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto meet promising future heroes worldwide. At the same time, they also get to know about international villains whose powers surpass or rival One for All and All for One. 

Irrespective of how things turn out, the third My Hero Academia film will likely reveal many secrets that might change the fans’ understanding of the world of Quirks. We might see some fascinating villains and heroes that make the My Hero Academia universe appear even more intriguing or mysterious. The movie’s release is hardly a few months away, so fans will likely get answers to their question very soon.
