Jessica Simpson’s life will be shown in a TV adaptation. The singing sensation, who is now in her 40s, signed a contract with the multimedia giant Amazon Studios last week. As per reports, the contract clearly mentions a deal for both scripted and non-scripted TV adaptations inspired by her memoir “Open Book.” Apart from that, the contract also makes it mandatory for two new unhackneyed essays to be released via “Amazon Original Stories.”

Someone who has closely watched the deal take place has reported that development for both scripted and unscripted TV series has been kickstarted.

Several sources of the entertainment media are very sure that the unscripted series would hit the floors in 2021. Several reports have alluded to the fact that Simpson’s fans can expect her husband Eric Johnson and their three kids, namely Birdie (1), Ace (7), and Maxwell, to be involved to some degree.

The network informed all the fans via a press release last Monday that the multi-part documentary cum series will feature some personal moments from Simpson’s life as well. The docuseries will feature some very personal recorded moments from Simpson’s life, which have been captured over the last decade.

ET has shared vital information, which has suggested to us that Jessica Simpson has shared at least 300 hours of personal and intimate footage with the studio for the series.

In addition to this, Amazon alluded that the series will feature not only the highs of Simpson’s life but her low points as well. The series will explore her rise to fame in the singing industry, her experiences while achieving sobriety, settling down in her life, and discovering her inner voice.

Jessica Simpson will be one of the executive producers of the upcoming unscripted series. She made her thoughts clear about the series via a statement in which she said that she is feeling humility and immense pride while forming a partnership with Amazon Studio to share a story about her heart and life to the tv audiences.

Simpsons added in her statement that she is a huge television fan and especially the content that is there on Amazon Prime, so the partnership with Amazon for a project on her life is a moment of immense pride for her.

She said that the moment she met the team of Amazon, she felt a subliminal bonding with them.

She acknowledged that though there are moments in her life that can be considered universal, there are bits and pieces in her life which are truly staggering.

She added that she would continue working on an objective she had set out for herself with regards to writing the “Open Book,” which she anticipates would further inspire people apart from entertaining them. She hopes that the book will further move and empower people to walk out of their shells and face life with impetus.

Simpson’s memoir titled “Open Book” was released in February of this year. In the book, as you can expect, she has talked about her life from her childhood to the moment where she achieved all the heights of success.
