How to block email on a computer

  • Login to your Gmail account and access the inbox. After that, open an email you want to block. 
  • When the email gets open, look at the upper right corner of the email. You will see three vertical dots. You have to click on these dots to access the menu More.
  • As you click on more, a new tab with some options will appear. If you have to report or spam the email, choose and click on Report. If you only want to block, select, and click on Block with sender name 
  • In that way, you can block or report spam in an email. 

  How to block email on a smartphone

  • To block emails on mobile devices, log in to your email account and open the mail you want to block. 
  • Now click on three dots located at the top right corner. As you click on the three dots, a new tab will open. 
  • Now choose Report spam and click on it.
  • If you want to block, hit on the three dots located at the right side of the sender’s name and address.
  • A pop-up tab will appear with an option named Block. Click on Block to block that particular sender.
