Bunk beds for kids are a popular option for a lot of families nowadays. And triple bunk beds are quite popular too. But what are they, how do they work and is it really worth opting for them over more traditional ones? Hopefully these questions will help you understand what makes them a gr

First of all, what are triple bunkbeds? Basically they're simply a two-story unit with three beds in it. They can either be used as regular bunk beds or they can be made extra special to include a triple bed in it. For example, some models can double up as an office unit, study room or play area. They come in all sorts of styles - from modern to classical - so you can pick one that fits in with the design scheme of your kids' home.

Why would you opt for triple bunk beds? Well, first of all they are much cheaper than the alternative. Even when you factor in the cost of hiring a crew to install them, you still end up saving a lot of money. They are also much easier to assemble, so you won't have to spend hours trying to fit them together. Also, depending on where you buy, they might be delivered fully assembled, so you won't have to bother with putting them together at home. Instead you can let the kids do it and just relax watching TV.

Do triple bunk bed frames offer any advantages over regular ones? Actually there are quite a few. The main advantage is that they provide better support for your child's lower back, making it much easier for them to get in and out of bed. This means that they are much less likely to suffer any spinal damage as a result of an accident. Another advantage is that they are a lot lighter, so your kids will be more comfortable sleeping on top rather than on the bottom.

Are custom bunk beds any better at providing firmness as compared to normal bunk beds? Unfortunately no, but there is one big exception. They are made from firmer and sturdier wood, which means that they won't easily break or sag in heavy winds. Although the frames won't support your kid as well, most of them are made from a metal frame which provides much better stability. Also, most of these come with extra storage facilities, such as cupboard and drawer below the bed. So they allow you to use as many extra bedroom items as you like, without having to store them up separately.

What about the standard beds that most children are familiar with, i.e. twin, full, queen, king and California king? Well, the good news is that they are still available and are very popular amongst parents because they provide a good alternative for smaller homes, where kids cannot have their own bedroom. They are usually available in two different varieties the standard custom design and the special ordered bespoke design.

When it comes to triple beds, they can basically be classified into two types, those that can only accommodate three people and those that can comfortably accommodate three to four people. The first ones, which can accommodate three people, generally come with two twin beds, two full beds and a loft bed for additional storage space. The special ordered one will come with three beds (usually), two twin beds, a full bed and a loft bed.

And what about the bedding? Most bespoke bunkbed room furniture come with attractive duvet-type bedding, which enables you to use bright colors on the bedding to liven up the room and make it more fun and vibrant. What's more, most of the bedding come in fun and colorful patterns and designs which make your kids feel really excited while they spend time in their new room.
