Alternate modification to the initial suggestion

One-time items in chests. While I was exploring Edgeville's dungeon, I stumbled upon a few chests. The excitement in my chests increased as OSRS Gold I rummaged through the chests only to discover nothing. I believe that chests should have only once-only items, such as strength potions. It should be made so that each player only gets them once and suddenly exploring becomes fun.

Why? because it's really, really fun. It could be a fantastic incentive to visit places you would not typically go to. And be really enjoyable. It could also make dungeons feel more like RPG dungeons. Additionally, chests that are extremely valuable would be much harder to obtain.

Alternate modification to the initial suggestion. Also every chest doesn't need to be filled with items only enough to make it worthwhile to travel the scenic route. Perhaps only 2 of 3 You could consider making each item in the chest ineligible for trade. A potion of Strength is not tradeable when you get it.

Argument to support the "devaluation of items" argument. It's highly unlikely that any more then 25% of the Runescape population will go after these chests. Add the Skillers and a lot of PvPers, and suddenly you have a lot less people. The chances of getting moderately valuable items again will drop, likely due to the difficulty to obtain these items. I doubt treasure hunter will take their items straight to GE and then sell them. The majority of perishable goods are used by the person who bought the item.

If all that happened was you'd have 7 million potions of strength readily available on the GE. The price would drop however only until there was a new surge of potions with strength. This is because of the sudden increase in demand. This I predict would occur within two week. Since they are one-time items, the price would go back to Cheap RS Gold normal fairly quickly. Realistically you won't notice a thing.
