Also think about that RS3 is a much older game using a whole lot more updates. Power creep for OSRS given exactly the exact same timeline is inevitable in my opinion.There's way more upgrades in RS3 but the majority of the content is dead / not used anymore, yeah. Electricity creep is unavoidable in OSRS. I feel it will occur at a rate, while I agree it is inevitable. The dragon scimitar is used now, like you said. Whip, while outclassed in a variety of ways by weapons, remains the slayer weapon for 99 percent of people far beyond maxing their combats. The updated tentacle whip premiered nearly 6 years back and OSRS gold only a couple of months ago was a"better" alternative introduced for the same slot through blade of saeldor, which by the way requires a non-tradeable and difficult to farm resource as its origin of fees.

Because you have to give incentive to players to rewards power creep is unavoidable, and the only real means to do is make those rewards better. OSRS does this quite methodically though by creating market applications and areas for items so there is never a singular best in slot setup for all content, allowing them to gradually power creep across all of these various avenues rather than constantly upgrading a singular best in slot for all articles.

They are like beginner amateurs that never dealt with an mmorpg before. It's quite sad really that the OSRS development group is far superior in every single way. I enjoy RS3 the update images, but the match is hollow and the truth everything is either top tier or nothing is merely sad. The extreme DPS differences between someone using full mouse compared to a guy trying to make it with revolution is insanely different too. It is elitist paradise. The EOC system in RS3 just isn't that great and poorly equipped, it appears to me that it's limited to what the obsolete engine can handle. They made it to be compatible with a modified RS2 motor instead of doing what other MMO programmers did that was designing a new game engine based on the battle system they want.

 No amount of balancing and adjustments will make it appealing to PVP when the biggest offender is the battle system. Many MMOs have a big pvp scene where people waste hours PVPing for no gain whatsoever because their combat system is fun and engaging whereas RS does all it can to provide GP incentive but nobody is bitig and for good reason.Sure it's just a very small step up from the prior old school battle program but it's simply not that good and still brings the crappy features from the old. Those attributes being long ticks, grid based positioning, point and click movement and automatic trageting that produces combat so clunky and meh in the event that you compared it using latest MMOs so you will not be buy RS3 gold getting new players to love it.
