Another video showing the bullying tactics of ACTS-OFW party-list Aniceto “John” Bertiz surfaced on Sunday (September 30) just as the public was busy talking about another footage showing his mean behavior towards an airport security officer.

The new video, taken in 2017 and uploaded by HKPinoyTVNews on Facebook, showed Bertiz in a heated exchange with a leader of the overseas Filipino worker (OFW) community in Hong Kong.

Bertiz accused the OFW leader of being an undocumented worker.

According to the video’s description, Bertiz got into a word war with Eman Villanueva of UNIFIL-Migrante over the proposed abolition of the Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) and the P550 airport terminal fee for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

The dialogue was facilitated by the OFW community in Hong Kong and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) through Undersecretary Joel Maglunsod at the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in the Admiralty district.

During the heated exchange, Villanueva told Bertiz that seeking employment through agencies is frowned upon by OFWs.

The migrant leader mentioned that Bertiz owns a recruitment agency which is the Global Asia Alliance Consultant, Inc.

“Ang hirap sayo, kinakain mo ang oras ng dayalogo namin! Agency ka rin! Eh bakit, hindi ba agency ang kalaban ng mga OFW?!” said Villanueva.

Bertiz told Villanueva that nothing wrong with his recruitment agency and the migrant leader won’t be able to work Hong Kong if not through these middlemen.

“Eh ano ngayon kung agency ako?! May naging problema ba ang ahensiya ko?! Eh ano ngayon kung agency?! Nakarating ka ba ng Hong Kong kung hindi agency?!,” the lawmaker said.

Villanueva responded that he was able to work in Hong Kong without going to a recruitment agency since it was not a common practice back then. Bertiz replied and accused the UNIFIL-Migrante leader of being an “undocumented” OFW.

“Anong taon ka dumating (dito sa Hong Kong)?! Ibig sabihin, undocumented ka!” he said.

The video of Bertiz’s confrontation with Villanueva is becoming viral after the footage of him confronting a screening security officer at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 made the rounds online.

In the video, Bertiz was shown berating the security officer and taking his ID after he refused to take his shoes off for inspection.
