You are telling me this random god Tumeken who's potent enough to make lesser gods at will just started investigating the desert, found a monkey and said"you're a god now"? I don't buy it, and I purchase it even less that Tumeken could be so potent and yet his presence be unrelated to the existence of the elder god artifact in his domain. Would Jagex even aim to get an elder god artifact from the desert if it wasn't/has played some type of function in the world.
The narrative of the desert pantheon sound what I'd think something called the template would do. He found beings like a fighter or crocodile and utilized them as literal templates, via the"Template", to make gods. The production stories are inconsistent since none of them knew the production worked That is, they only understand the maker and the foundation ingredient then made the rest of the details themselves up. In reality there is only a great deal of contradictions in the Desert Pantheon history versus the world's history.
