In the midst of Mut 22 coins Week 3 of the 2021-22 NFL season, EA has updated Madden 22's rosters to reflect Week 2 performance. This week's update didn't bring many surprises, however certain notable players got the ratings increase.

The most notable change was a two-point increase in Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski's overall rating. He's now gone from an overall launch rating of 86 to an overall rating of 89 within just two weeks. The guy is certainly worthy of it. Gronk has already scored 12 receptions, scoring the tally of 129 yards and four touchdowns within the last two weeks. Gronk has been in great form and I'm convinced that this will not be his last year with excellent ratings.

Tyrann Mathieu, Kansas City Chiefs safety is another well-known name that has seen ratings increase. After missing the first game due to an positive COVID test Mathieu made his debut in the game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. It was a fantastic debut as Honey Badger recorded two interceptions and one touchdown. Mathieu's Awareness and Catch scores both have increased by one point to 99 and 82 respectively. The overall score is currently at 96.

After a rebound in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, Titans running back Derrick Henry saw some ratings modified, though he's still at an overall score of 96. Henry's start rating was a surprise to many , as many fans believed that he was the top running back in the league. With 182 yards of rushing during Week 2 and three touchdowns, he certainly proved his worth. Henry's catching went up to two points and a 64, but his break tackle, surprisingly, fell three points to a 95.

One player to keep an eye on now is Carolina Panthers half back Christian McCaffrey who sustained a hamstring injury in Thursday night's game against the Houston Texans. Although injuries rarely affect the player's ratings in Madden however, it'll be interesting to examine if Henry will be able to replace McCaffrey as the best back in Madden 22.
