During a speech in Kidapawan City, Cotabato, Duterte remarked that the belief God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit was "silly."
"Magdasal ka na sa isang Diyos, magdasal ka pa dito sa mga santong y---," said the president.
"Isa lang ang Diyos. Theres only one God, period. You cannot divide God into three. Thats silly."
Duterte also questioned Jesus Christ's divinity, given that He died on the cross.
