The Jewelcrafting Profession
Next up is jewelcrafting. So this is actually one. You can stop skilling up just yet, but I believe we will be able to once the pea patch hits. So you might be able to scale this up before TBC comes out as well for Jewelcrafting the big money maker will be crafting and selling drums specifically APIC gems. You can also craft some items such as the necklace of the deep and so on, but your main goals will come from gems. Additionally, you have a cool-down craft called brilliant class, which lets you convert several green jumps into a bank and this bag can contain rare unethical gems. So it’s a nice way of making some passive gold. Also blacksmiths can make some overpowered armor and weapons as well, mostly in the later phases of TBC, but it’s worth checking out. If you’re into gear crafting, it is worth noting that many of these Epic crafts for all professions actually come from patterns that dropped from rates. Alchemy, Herbalism, Mining
This is a great money-making profession. This profession produces consumables that are useful when you enter the end-game content. The A-Tier profession had many branches such as herbalism and mining. Herbalism gives you the ability to grow herbs throughout the Outlands. There is one other branch, mining, which is also popular. This profession gives the ability to mine materials that can be used as basic raw materials for making weapons.
Blacksmithing
There’s quite a bit of changes to Blacksmithing. TBC Blacksmithing is basically allowing players to create their own mail and plate armor as well as two-handed maces, axes and swords, one and two-handed. So while in vanilla Blacksmiths were able to craft a number of high-value endgame recipes Blizzard has really expanded on that in TBC -your range of gear that you can create that is good is much bigger. Most smiths choose Mining as their gathering profession as together with Blacksmithing it has a huge potential, it also has a huge price tag especially if you choose to buy all your materials on the auction house, so this combination is suitable for most classes that wear plate and mail armor regardless of spec.
