In the earlier chapters, he also received a lot of damage to his vital organs by attacks from Shigaraki. The League of Villains stands strong against the heroes, and to make the matter worse, Gigantomachia saves Shigaraki, and he reunites with the notorious League of Villains.

In chapter 285, While Deku and Bakugo are fighting with The League of Villains top members, Deku maneuver all of his strength and after using the combination of Detroit smash, Wyoming smash, St Louis Smash, and finally the Texas Smash(super move used by All Might and Izuku Midoriya), the villains are not backing out. In the heat of the event, the wounded Bakugo jumps into the fight, taking a lethal blow while saving Deku from the attack.

Upon hearing about the sacrifice, fans started speculating that Bakugo had been killed. But the recent update proves that Bakugo is still standing strong even though the Shigaraki’s attacks have ruptured his vital organs.

As the fight reaches its end, Iida tries her best to save Bakugo while other heroes try to stay put in the fight.

In chapter 290, Lida tries to stop Bakugo from returning to the fight, but Bakugo tries his best to help his friends, but his wounds are yet to be healed in the current war scenario.

At the hospital, Rei Todoroki finds out that Dabi is Todoroki Touya. Touya enters the fighting ground and declares a war while dancing like Arthur Fleck of the 2019s oscar winning movie, Joker.

No further updates have been made regarding Bakugo, Todoroki Touya, or Deku. However, fans are still waiting to see Katsuki Bakugo’s comeback as he returns to claim his perfect victory one more time. According to Viz Media’s Shonen Jump section, the release date for the My Hero Academia chapter 291 is scheduled for Sunday, November 15th, 2020.
