Ethan Hawke’s first wife was Kill Bill star, Uma Thurman. The actor had two kids with her, namely Maya and Levon Hawke. Hawke had met the actress on the sets of Gattaca, and the duo soon started dating each other and eventually got married in 1998. Before Hawke had met Thurman, he was still an emerging Hollywood actor and only had films like Reality Bites written in his resume.

Maya Hawke is the most famous of the two kids he had with Thurman. The actress had entered the acting world with the 2017 BBC series “Little Women,” in which she played the character Jo March. The actor married again in 2008. This time his partner was Ryan Shawhughes, who had been a nanny for Maya and Levon when they were children. With her, Hawke had two children, namely Clementine and Indiana. Clementine was born in 2008, while Indiana was born in 2011. In March of this year, Maya had shared a video showing all of the four siblings along with Ethan performing a song together.

When it comes to working with her daughter, Ethan Hawke told Seth Meyers that the experience was “mind-blowing.” He remarked that it’s an amazing feeling to be able to tell a story that you had a desire to tell for a long time and that too, along with your daughter, who share your thoughts for the project. Hawke admitted that she did bring a “grace” that the series desperately needed.
