The fact that people here are really acting like this is a meaningful

EA doesn't care for people that are not investors. Eliminating Kaepernick's name from songs in Madden two years in a row reveals it. Businesses don't need you to defend themlet their lawyers do this work. I am all for calling a spade a Mut 21 coins spade and being happy after I'm surprised by something like this. But we should not praise a company for attaining the absolute bare minimum. You are not cool and ethical for thanking companies for not spitting on you. We should praise firms who reveal patterns of pleasure. Feel free to disagree, but please don't behave like this specific instance is this incredibly complicated morally-grey situation. I mean I believed there were pretty strict regulations whose titles and likeliness can be utilized in Madden. Like Belicheck and Payton aren't in Madden because they are not a part of the NFLCA and that's who EA includes a contract with. They may need to cover Kap if his title is used and are probably avoiding that. That and Kap is not just welcome in the NFL world (not talking about lovers ) anymore.

They backpeddled and apologized if they have been called out. They do not have rights to Kap's likeness from the game but they can mention him in the song (as they have plenty of other people characters in other tunes ). The fact that they did this two years in a row indicates it wasn't an innocent oversight however a genuine decision to collaborate using a essentially racist act of collusion within the NFL. I am not defending a provider. I am not saying EA is some bastion of justice. Many people generally (not merely reddit) can not see past black and white. That is why negativity floats to the top in most social media. This is a major factor. Youtube for one has done research, because it's a huge portion of their business and they would like to understand it. There has been testimony to congress about it I've watched but can not find right now. What they need is engagement and the more negatively framed something is the more people will click it as it comes up in your recommendations.

Businesses do not need you to defend themlet their attorneys do this work. "Companies do not need you to defend them", but attacking businesses when they are doing the proper thing is necessary and productive? It does not matter if it is for PR reasons, they're still raising awareness for this problem and hurting nobody by doing this process. Meanwhile the people who see this as an chance to attack are only perpetuating a negative atmosphere of constant whining. It's not so much about"defending companies" but about attacking this naturally negativity. So you're really only adding to the man's argument by doing exactly what he described. They're not doing anything though. They just published a statement filled with empty rhetoric. You understand what doing some thing is? Not creating another Madden game since the NFL punished players like Kaepernick for taking a knee. That would be impressive. However, we are all aware that's not what's going to occur.

The fact that people here are really acting like this is a meaningful gesture is indeed fucking baffling. EA literally went out of its way to scrub his title out of their games two decades right, but this thread is making it seem like they've contributed millions. It is pure fucking insanity. It's the definition of slacktivism. It would be more fair when they had said nothing in any way. Instead, they are gonna push a bullshit PR statement about how they stand together with all the black community and then in a few months turn around and sell a product comprising an organization that has a history of stifling and penalizing black voices. I never mentioned"Let us attack a company for doing the Buy Madden 21 Coins, MUT 21 Coins For Sale - MMOExp.com ideal thing." Actions speak louder than words. It is possible to always be optimistic of matters looking up, which I often am. If your friend hurts your feelings, they have to regain your trust. You do not thank them every time from then on whenever they're being nice.
