Nana has faced many super-powered enemies who were talented enough to easily eliminate her. From a necromance to a future seer and time traveler, she has confronted and defeated all sorts of enemies with ease. It is sometimes hard to believe that someone without any powers can trounce such powerful enemies. However, it has happened on several occasions, and one has to admit that Nana is too good. She is smart enough to take all the risks into account and make decisions that are quite effective. In the recent murder, she took considerable risks to get rid of Habu’s cellphone, but with a little luck, her plans worked just as she expected, and she ended up making Kyoya admit that he was wrong about her.

Kyoya’s admission that he was wrong in doubting Nana has hurt his credibility, while Nana has smartly won over her classmates, who now trust her more than ever. Everyone is now happy with her position as the leader of the class. But she is aware that Kyoya still does not trust her, and she needs to be more careful now since four people have already died. However, she never thought that Michiru would backstab her. She was shocked when Michiru tried to expose her in front of the class. Although she succeeds in outsmarting her, Nana is aware that she won’t be able to keep up for long.

By the time she met Michiru again, Nana had already figured out that she was not her friend but someone disguised as Michiru. She told the fake Michiru that since she is using a Band-Aid to cover her wound, it means that she can’t cure it. The real Michiru would have easily fixed it by using her powers. Fake Michiru admits that he is, in fact, Jin Tachibana. He used to be a member of the previous class on the same island. His powers as a shapeshifter allow him to disguise himself as anyone he wants.

Jin explains to Nana that the previous class started a civil war in which most of the students were killed. The government killed those who tried to get away. So, Jin was the only survivor of the conflict, and he wanted to know what the government was up to. Unlike his previous class, he realized that Nana, a powerless assassin, is sent in to kill the students instead of starting a civil war. Jin wants to understand the motivations behind Nana’s murder spree and the plans of the government.

Since he can shapeshift, Jin reveals that he has seen all of her murders as an animal. Nana realizes that he knew too much to be left to live, so she tries to poison her. But to her surprise, Kyoya arrives there out of nowhere. Kyoya says that he can shapeshift and borrow the powers of the people he transforms into. Nana is surprised to find that it was Jin, not Kyoya and her poison was useless since Kyoya is immortal. At this moment, Nana finally realizes how dangerous Jin is; he can not only borrow powers but confuse anyone with his shapeshifting abilities. It will be intriguing to see what Jin wants from her and how Nana is going to deal with her new enemy.
